About Me

Ahalan Wa Sahlan (أهلاَ وسَهْلاَ).
Marhaban (مَرْحَباً).

I am a rocket-scientist who left my job helping humans explore and live in outer space so that I could take advantage of the opportunity to explore our planet and live in a new country. I am at the very beginning of my journey, and over the course of the next several years I hope to share stories, photos, and experiences living abroad and traveling.

I am naturally an observer, planner, and homebody (unless it’s to try a new bar/restaurant). I am challenging myself with this overseas opportunity to be more of a participant in new situations, throw plans out the window (this will be the hardest!), and get more involved in the expat, global traveler, and Saudi community (like face-to-face, as well as via the social media world obviously).

I have a passion for helping people learn who are open to learning. My hope with this blog is that you will learn something new (about me or the world) or find something that interests you so that you can succeed further in your travels or be inspired to start a new adventure.
